6:15-8:45pm "Maker's Meetup", show & tell (bring projects!), project talk, fun stuff.
We will also be doing a live build of a Kelvin's thunderstorm. If you would like to assist by bringing components, please mention it in the comments.
We require the following components:
- Tank - Partial [Adam, see comments]
- Stand - Partial [Adam, see comments]
- Aquarium tubing & T connector, [Adam]
- 2 metal cans - probably, [Chris]
- Wire with alligator clips - probably [Matt]
- Duct tape [Alastair] [Gus]
- Stiff wire or tin foil for the electrodes [Alastair] [Gus]
- Nozzles [Adam]
- Hot Glue [Alastair]
- Cutting/Drilling tools [Alastair]
- Spark Gap - [Alastair]
- Neon lights

Adam — Sun, 29/08/2010 - 8:55pmI'll try and pick up the plumbing bits from Bunnings tomorrow and have a dig around for other bits and pieces.
Got some bits
Adam — Mon, 30/08/2010 - 2:29pmI have the tubing, t-piece and valves for the drip system. I go two valves so we can use them as nozzels and to even out the drip rate if we need to.
I've also got 2 threaded rods and enough nuts and washers to build a 3 shelf unit. Just need to find some allu box stock or some planks of wood. I'll see if I can grab some off cuts from my dad if no one else volunteers anything.
